Doing Research for My Wife

My wife asked me to look online for symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). She is worried that her mother is starting to develop RA and wants to make sure before she approaches her about it. Her mother is a very stubborn woman, and whenever we try to talk to her about anything she always claims her German heritage as to why she is so stubborn. Obviously there is more to it than just being German, but she has her own reasoning for it and it is not worth the argument that it would spark. I found some solid information on several different websites as well as printed out the list of symptoms for RA from Web MD, although I know better than to only bring that to the bargaining table with her. Hopefully my mother in law does not have RA, and this entire debate can be avoided. If she does have RA, it is going to be a difficult fight for us to convince her to go to her doctor to get checked. The last time she needed to go to the doctor, she would not listen to us and she ended up having pneumonia. Even then the only reason she went was because we called an ambulance to come and get her because she could not get out of bed.
